A few short docu-style films from my work as Creative Director of a small nonprofit.

The first film is from Rabbit Hole’s program at the Phoenix Academy.

The other films are from a summer program at a school for kids with social-emotional issues.
We put a variety of cameras in their hands for the first time and prompted them to write poetry about their summer experiences as viewed through the five senses.

In the end I used my footage and theirs, along with their poetry, to create a portrait of the program as a whole as well as individual portraits of each student.

Phoenix Academy
